Holy crap, we've only gone and done it! We've launched. Zero Fox is no longer just a dream but a reality. An actual website with actual freakin' awesome threads which people can actually buy. It's been a long hard road getting here; there's been times where I've thought how can I fit starting a new business in around being a Mum to a tearaway toddler, a Wife to a tearaway husband (jokes, he's very low maintenance is Rob) and a busy television Production Manager? Well I tell you how I did it, I worked my arse off, I made the website in the evenings, came up with designs in my sleep and very handily got made redundant from my TV job (Pfff who needs paid work!) and so here we are. Zero Fox: kids clothing with serious attitude.
My story is a simple one: after having my daughter Autumn Fox, I realised that the market for cool kids clothing was pretty much non existent. I'd walk into high street shops and the sea of pink unicorns and frilly dresses would bring on a wave of nausea. Why is it that pink equals girl and blue equals boy? Why are boys allowed to wear dinosaur tops and girls aren't? Then i saw that viral post of a young girls top in a US store which had 'do my thighs look big in this?' sprawled across the front and I thought, what the fox is going on? My inner feminist raged, we need to let kids be kids, we need to stop forcing gender stereotypes on them, we need them to be who they want to be. They need edge and sass and a little sprinkling of naughtiness. And that my friends is what Zero Fox is all about. We have launched with a small collection of unisex black, white and grey t shirts, baby grows and zip up hoodies. Our ethos is simple: we want to offer good quality threads for mini humans. There will be excellent customers service, charity tees so we can give back to the community and most importantly there won't be a gender stereotype in sight!
In a nutshell, that is us, we are Zero Fox. We give Zero Fox. We love Zero Fox.
